She, her husband and 4 boys live in Hawaii now.  They are loving it there- building a large garden, taking care of goats, raising their kids, and enjoying a life truly off the grid.  

It is amazing to me how many of my friends and family are seeking a simpler life and pushing back against the normal suburban lifestyle in this country.

I have to say that I miss them, but I get it.

I came home to this after working a 14 hour day.

So far so good with the garden.  The herbs are in good shape and tasty and we hope to put the topsy turvy's together this week with our tomatoes and strawberries.

Still not ready to take them to our local farmer's market, but who knows, maybe next year.  :)
