Didn't anyone teach you to knock?

Back from a chaotic weekend in the city chasing my toddler around every non-childproofed room known to man and trying to keep his terrible two-ness under wraps so everyone could enjoy their vacations and the impending wedding. 

Lying down in the guest room and too tired to get up again for the 1000 time, I heard a door open.

"Didn't anyone teach you to knock?" I heard his Nana say.

Hmm, hadn't really worked on that one yet.

No crying ensued, which was a godsent, since the wrong look sometimes sends Isaac into a melt down these days.

Then I heard:

The door closing.

Isaac knocking.

Isaac re-opening the door on her again.

I have to admit it, I laughed my ass off.
