Time's Top 10 Everything of 2009

I have to admit, I am a bit of a junkie this time of year for all of the Best and Top of Lists.

There is something validating in knowing that even though you worked full time, ran your household, changed thousands of diapers and are OLD- mostly listening to NPR and having no idea who many of the new musical acts are- you still know many of the the other stories on the lists.

There is something surreal about missing many of the big head lines, wondering how that could have happened, and then realizing it might be due in part to how truly tabloid- terrible the news has really become.

There is something interesting about reading and watching the year being recapped by others to see if the stories chosen match with yours, and how your interpretation might differ. 

I will admit, there is some silly stuff, here, but there is some interesting information too.
