We are getting a dog

Isaac told his whole class very definitively:

"Santa is bringing me a dog for Hann-kaka."

Maybe he will be better at melding the two ideas of the holidays this time of year then his Mama.

I just hope that when he is older, they won't make him sing Dreydel, Dreydel every year at the school holiday concert like they did to me.

Perhaps by then, some of the Jewish composers and artists will write some better songs and holiday albums for Hanukkah rather than just for Christmas.
